RAD is a gold‑backed token with a built‑in decay. Unstaked balances shrink on a 30‑day half‑life, and that decay funds a gold reserve that only grows. Swap fees feed a gold reserve that only grows, and every sell burns supply — so the redemption floor only rises. Stake RAD to stop your balance decaying and earn the decay of holders who don't.
Any RAD you leave in your wallet decays on a 30‑day half‑life, roughly 2.3% per day. 60% of that is burned and 40% is paid to stakers. Holding without staking is a slow transfer to everyone who did.
Burn RAD to redeem a pro‑rata share of the gold reserve. The reserve only grows and total supply only shrinks, so the floor per token ratchets upward. There is no oracle and no peg to defend.
35% of every swap fee is added to the gold reserve on the spot, and every sell burns RAD. Reserve up, supply down — so the redemption floor ratchets upward and never falls. No oracle, no peg.
Lock RAD for 3 to 48 hours and it stops decaying (the shield) while it earns a share of every other holder's decay (the rewards). Longer locks get more weight. There are no admin keys and no upgrade path.
Connect your wallet and approve RAD for the staking contract. This is a one‑time transaction per wallet.
Enter how much RAD to stake and pick a lock of 3, 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours. Longer locks receive more weight, so they earn a larger share of rewards.
Confirm the stake. Your RAD moves into the reactor contract and stops decaying for as long as it is locked. This protection is the shield.
Staked positions accrue rewards continuously: your weighted share of the 40% of all decay paid to stakers. Rewards are paid in RAD.
Once the lock expires, withdraw your principal plus accrued rewards in one transaction. Unstaking before the unlock time is allowed but forfeits 25% of principal, half burned and half paid to remaining stakers.
